• 1946: The company Schnückel is founded by owner Josef Schnückel
  
  
• May 1960: Mechthild Karweg becomes a secretary at Schnückel company
  
  
• 1982: Offer and purchase of Schnückel company, new name: Fa. Josef Schnückel, owner R. Karweg

• 1983: Conclusion of a lease for 10 years
  
  
• 1991: Change of the company name - Reinhold Karweg, formerly Josef Schnückel
  
  
• 1992 Purchase of the property in Bernhardusstraße 47 to build today's production and office building

• 1992 Completion of the new building
  
  
• April 1993: Inauguration of the new rooms
  
  
• 1999: Name change into KARWEG GmbH & Co. KG, managing directors Reinhold Karweg & Christiane Wiemers
